Energy Minister wants to shut down Srbijagas
(Zorana Mihajlovic)
Public company Srbijagas will go through a restructuring process, while some of its divisions will probably be shut down.
Namely, Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has suggested the government turn Srbijagas into a closed joint-stock company by the year's end so it could be shut down by the end of the next year, Blic has reported.
The plan is to separate natural gas storage and transportation divisions and Azotara Pancevo from Srbijagas before shutting that company down.
As Blic reports, reorganization process will be carried out in several phases.
The minister told B92 that more details should be known the next week, whereas the director of that company, Dusan Bajevic, did not answer TV B92's calls.
