Knjaz Miloš fully owned by Mattoni 1873 Group

Mattoni 1873, the largest producer of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages in Central Europe, acquired a minority stake (46.43%) in Knjaz Miloš from PepsiCo, becoming the sole owner. The value of the transaction is almost EUR 90 million, it is said on the website of the Knjaz Miloš company.

The Mattoni 1873 group operates in 8 countries, with 3,400 employees, 11 production plants, and 39 brands, such as Knjaz Miloš, Mattoni, Magnesia, Szentkirályi, Waldquelle, and others. In the Czech Republic, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mattoni 1873 is the exclusive producer and distributor of PepsiCo’s brand of soft drinks. In 2023, on all markets in which it operates, this European group sold almost 2 billion bottles.
