The German company Vorwerk has commenced production in Cacak, and Jurgen Moller, the director general of Vorwerk Eldisy in Serbia, said that they had made the right decision by choosing Serbia, especially Cacak.

Moller said that the current investment amounted to EUR 60 million and announced that it would increase. He said that there were 175 employees at the moment and that there would be more than 1,000 in the next period.

The director general of the Vorwerk factory in Cacak, Nenad Medenica, said that the previously empty area now featured a factory of car parts for Volkswagen, Daimler and BMW, featuring state-of-the-art machines.

The mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic, said that the factory had four and a half hectares of production space under its roof, with products made to be exported.

The plastic, rubber and metal car parts made at the factory are intended for Audi, Daimler-Chrysler, Volkswagen, Bentley, Ford and BMW.

The planned export by the end of the year amounts to EUR 10 million, and the aim is for them to increase multiple times by 2025, reaching the amount of EUR 150 million.
