By the end of 2019, the renovation works on the building of the first electric power plant in Serbia, located in Dorcol neighborhood in Belgrade, will begin, deputy mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic announced on September 7.

– First electric power plant in Dorcol which is now in ruins will be regenerated and the works will start by the end of next year, Vesic said. He added that there were plans to situate the new Nikola Tesla museum at that spot.

While visiting EPS distribution dispatch center Vesic told the press that the museum would cover the area of 10,000 m2 and would represent a science-research centre and a place for students and professors to study the life and work of Nikola Tesla.

Let us remind that Serbian Government announced the construction of the new museum last year when it founded a coordination authority for monitoring the construction of the new Nikola Tesla museum .
