The Israeli Aviv Arlon will soon start to build a shopping centre in Zvezdara, eKapija has learned from the company.

This will be a retail park, a complex that introduces the concept of outdoor shopping. The complex, named Aviv Park Zvezdara will cover 11,500 m2 in Živka Davidovića 86 in Belgrade.

“The retail park concept has shown very good results at our complex in Pančevo” says Danka Gladović, marketing director of Aviv Arlon to eKapija, “so Aviv Arlon has decided to start work on a similar complex in Belgrade this spring. The project Aviv Park Zvezdara will have 11,500 m2 of net retail space and this concept will provide a good offer on the Belgrade market”.

She adds that there are no shopping centres in this city quarter. The site is well connected with all parts of the city. The many public transport routes to Ustanička street are just one of its advantages and a reason for the company to invest in such a complex here.

“Our idea is to build a shopping centre in this part of Belgrade that would provide a good offer to people living in Zvezdara, Konjarnik and even the suburbs, to shop in one place for the entire family. Apart from shopping, our visitors will be able to enjoy entertainment. A range of educational, creative, entertaining activities will target several age groups, above all the whole family. We will strive to be unique and recognisable and offer a place of good entertainment along with excellent shopping to our visitors”, says Danka Gladović.

In addition to a 2,500 m2 hypermarket, Aviv Park Zvezdara will provide shops with clothes, footwear, children`s shops, restaurants, services etc.

“Over 60% of lease contracts have already been signed, but it is still early to reveal the names of the companies, for confidentiality reasons. Construction is planned to start this spring and finish by autumn 2015”, she announced.

According to eKapija`s sources in the company, Aviv Arlon plans to build about 70 residential units here in a second phase.

“We believe that a combination of commercial and residential space makes a better and more pleasant environment”, says the marketing director of Aviv Arlon.

The Israeli company Aviv Arlon has been present in Serbia since 2007. It invested in building the first retail park in this region in Pančevo.
