First international Spring Book Fair in Novi Sad

International Spring Book Fair in Novi Sad will be opened today in Spens, and from March, 27th, around 100 exhibitors from the country, and from BIH, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia will represent themselves, as well as the American center and Italian institute for culture. Among exhibitors on the First international book fair in Novi Sad will be, among others, Graphic studio "Dereta", Narodnja knjiga - Alfa, Geopoetika, Okean, Zmaj, Laguna, Skolska knjiga, and special spot will take libraries, among whom are Novi Sad's City library and National University library from Pristina, as announced by the Business society of publishers and booksellers of Vojvodina (PUIKV).

The Fair will besides daily book promotions, mark an exhibition of comic books and illustrations of domestic and world famous masters of illustration. The entrance to the Book fair is free, and according to the words of the executive director of PUIKV Roman Vehovac, it is better to visitors buy one book than to pay the entrance ticket.

The list of participants of the Book fair contains among others also Belgrade publishing houses Algoritam, Alnari, Anturijum, Babun, Bella vista, Beoknjiga, Feniks libris, Geopoetika, Creative center, Laguna, Moc knjige, Mono&Manjana, Partenon, Politika newspapers and magazines and Business herald of SCG. Also there will be a presentation of Novi Sad's publishers like Forum, Lib, Missing link, Pan knjiga, Primatron, Prometej, Rubikon, Ruzno pace, Stylos publishing, Vega media, Zmaj, as well as Duga knjiga from Sremski Karlovci, Natron and Sezam book from Zrenjanin, Shine & co and Zograf from Nis and Trend from Leskovac. It is also announced that there will be participation of the houses Besjeda from Banja Luka and Bosnian word from Tuzla.

On the Book fair would also participate Corvina konyvkiado, Europa konyvkiado, HVG, Kalligram konyvkiado, Konyvvilag, Kossuth konyvkiado, Lucidus kiado, Novum, Palatinus from Hungary, then Temak, Book center, Priroda from Bratislava, as well as society of publishers and sellers of Hungary and Slovakia and Veble commerce from Zagreb.

The organizer expressed their expectation that the Fair will attract more than 100.000 of visitors. The exhibitors have more than 10.000 m2 of space with equipped stands for their use.

The organizers invited for presentation also the publishers of electronic information carriers, of music editions and electronic and printed media.
