The video game industry in Serbia earns 50 to 100 million dollars a year, with a clear tendency for growth, which is present globally as well, and the Games Association says that Serbia has already found its place on the industry's global map and that the number of players during the coronavirus pandemic broke all records.

A survey by Bitkom published in Berlin shows that the crisis caused by the pandemic has caused a real boom in the gaming industry, as people are spending more and more time playing video games, and the Serbian Games Association (SGA) says that the epidemic has caused an expected growth of the number of games.

SGA manager Kristina Jankovic says for Tanjug that, depending on the month, the sale of games, the number of downloads and the sale of consoles jumped in various markets by 30% to 80%.
