Vranje to Get Gynecology-Obstetrics Hospital

In addition to the existing Gynecology Section at the General Hospital, Vranje could soon get a special gynecology-obstetrics hospital.

The City of Vranje has announced a public presentation of the urban project of the construction of a gynecology-obstetrics hospital in the city, with Lidija Petrovic from Vranje as the investor.

The project says that the construction of a modern health institution facility aims to enhance and improve the health services in Vranje.

The parcel targeted for the construction is located within the first zone of the General Regulation Plan of Vranje (cadaster parcel no. 2721 KO Vranje) and leans on the city's collector-distributor road (Dr. Kopse Street) on the southeast side. At the moment, it features an auxiliary residential facility with a single ground floor, which is to be demolished.

According to the plan, the hospital will have a basement level and two floors (including the ground floor), on a total area of 1,362 m2.

The underground level will feature technical rooms, as well as x-ray, pathology, transfusion and other rooms.

The ground floor should feature the reception area, consisting of a reception desk and an information desk with a waiting room, doctors' offices, laboratories, pharmacies, outpatient clinics and operating rooms.

According to the project, in addition to the operating unit consisting of two operating rooms and an intensive care unit, the upper floor will also feature a patient care area with six rooms with toilets, a section for infants, as well as a laboratory, an IFV room, rooms for medical nurses and a medical material storage area.

The hospital will have an underground garage with 20 parking spaces.

The parcel is equipped with water, sewer, power and TT network. A connection to a sanitary sewer system, road access, pedestrian access from Dr. Kopse Street and the establishment of green areas are all planned as well.

The project developer is the PE Urbanizam i izgradnja Vranje, and the project is on public presentation until August 17, 2020.
