French sporting goods retailer to open first store in Serbia

Decathlon, a French sporting goods retailer with a tradition of over 40 years, is opening its first store in Serbia. It will open on December 12 at the Big Fashion shopping center.

In over 150 countries, Decathlon is synonymous with sporting goods available to everyone – people of all ages, recreational athletes, beginners, but also ambitious, passionate fans of indoor and outdoor sports.

The grand opening has also been announced by the Country Manager at Decathlon, Michel Kappler, in a press release:

– A new market is always a special challenge and responsibility for us, but we are also immeasurably happy and proud to bring a whole new sporting experience to Serbia. Everything is ready for the first customers, and we hope that recreational and professional athletes will be able to truly enjoy themselves and find something on over 3,000 m2 filled with equipment for 70 sports, at prices affordable to everybody.

In its stores, Decathlon offers the widest range of its own brands, gathered under the name of Passion brands.
