Tendering procedure for reconstruction of Fortress Bridge in Nis opens – Works worth RSD 50 million

The Building Directorate of Nis has opened the tendering procedure for reconstruction and repair of the Fortress Bridge, and the bid submission deadline is December 6.

As said in the documentation, among other things, the works entail the replacement of the metal fence with a new one, whose design features a combination of glass and inox.

According to the public procurement plan of the Building Directorate, the estimated value of the works is RSD 50 million.

The public opening of the bids will be held on December 6. Based on the report of the expert assessment of the bids, the decision on the awarding of the contract or the termination of the public procurement procedure will be reached by the procuring entity within 25 days of the date of the opening of the bids.



We remind that, after the City Administration of Nis had rejected the request for the issuing of a building permit for the reconstruction of the Fortress Bridge, it was finally issued in mid-September.

Let us remind that the works on the reconstruction of the King Milan's Square are in progress and that the deadline period is two years.
