Second Fair of Production Technologies – Novi Sad Fair on October 24-25, 2019

The second Fair of Production Technologies will be held at the Master Hall at the Novi Sad Fair on October 24-25, 2019. The fair will present advanced software solutions for production, production machines and tools, 3D printing and scanning and professional hardware.

The first fair was held on October 2018 at the Sumadija Fair in Kragujevac. The concept of a specialized event dedicated to industry turned out to be very successful: the fair was visited by over 500 professionals from 300 companies.

Once again, the fair is organized by Solfins 3D Kompanija and Strojotehnika, but this time with the support of six partner companies, which are joining the organization, inspired by last year's success: Festo, Meusburger, EPH Fero, Key IT, BPP Group and Garant Wis.

Regarding the initial idea to organize this kind of a specialized event, the organizers say:

– As providers of consulting services and solutions for the industry, with over 300 clients, we wanted to use our central position in the local industry to present the latest solutions for development and production, used by the most successful companies in Serbia, to all the clients above all, but also to all interested professionals. The idea to organize this kind of a fair was therefore born in 2018. After the extremely successful premiere of the Fair of Production Technologies in Kragujevac, we decided to repeat the event this year, but in a new location – says Srdjan Zivkov, the executive director of Solfins 3D Kompanija.

The organizers picked Novi Sad for the second edition of the fair, as the center toward which dozens of companies from this industry gravitate, from Sremska Mitrovica to Subotica, with hundreds of employed engineers and highly qualified professionals in all phases of development and production.

– In the Serbian market, Strojotehnika is present as the leading distributor of modern CNC machines and tools for machines processing and a focused fair is a great format for showing, not just the products, but also the concrete advantages of our offer, for meeting our clients and seeing what the trends are and what the market demands – says Daniel Radic, representative of Strojotehnika for Serbia.

Offer for local companies

On around 2,000 m2 of exhibit space, the fair will present specialized software solutions for 3D modeling, simulation, quality control, reverse engineering, CNC machine programming, visualization, creating instructions, managing documentation, processes, projects and operations, as well as 3D printing and scanning and machine processing – live.

There will be no specific schedule. Instead, the entire offer will be presented throughout both days to small groups or individually, thanks to the efforts of over 30 application engineers and specialists in specific fields.

– We invite all company owners and managers, engineers, technologists and operators of CNC machines and 3D printers, professors, teachers, students of technical schools and faculties, but also all enthusiasts, hobbyists and fans of technology to visit the Fair of Production Technologies and see what the current trends are and what will mark the ongoing fourth industrial revolution – Srdjan Zivkov.

Solfins CAD/CAM Award Tournament

At the end of the first day of the fair, from 6 pm, the Solfins 3D CAD Modeling Award Tournament and non-competition CAM programming duels will be held. Participants in the 3D CAD modeling tournament can choose to work in SolidWorks or CATIA.

At the previous CAD/CAM tournament, there were over 20 engineers from 15 companies, and the winners were presented with valuable awards: 3D mouse devices for engineers, free scanning and 3D printing of their work. This year, Solfins 3D Kompanija has some other surprises in store for the quickest and most skillful CAD and CAM users.
