With the reconstruction of the court within the Trim Track in Kosutnjak, the citizens of Belgrade now have new, free courts at their disposal, it was announced on the website of the Sports and Sport Medicine Institute of Serbia.

The courts feature new tartan tracks and artificial grass, and each one has new lighting installations. Volleyball, football and basketball courts have all been upgraded.

– Under the new Law on Sports, the Institute has the status of a National Training Center, and the further reconstruction and extension will enable national sports associations to have their athletes trained here under optimal conditions. The intention is for the facilities and courts to meet the requirements for international tournaments – says Goran Bojovic, the director of the Sports and Sport Medicine Institute of Serbia.

The plan also includes the reconstruction of the Institute's management building.
