Italian "Pompea Spa" keeps investing in Zrenjanin

Italian company "Pompea Spa" announced that it would keep investing in Zrenjanin where it had the unit for production of socks built and where, according to the words of General Manager Fabio Boturio, the new coloring unit should be equipped and additional 60 workers employed.

Good news can also be heard from other investors who had a working meeting with the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Mileta Mihajlov, yesterday. The city authorities expressed readiness to help foreign investors, while 13 representatives of the companies that have had their units built in Zrenjanin over the last few years confirmed intention to stay here and resume their operations.

- In spite of the crisis, we plan to expand our business and move complete production to Zrenjanin. We are seriously thinking about opening a logistic center in Zrenjanin, wherefrom the good would be exported to European and Russian market - Fabio Boturi explained.

The representatives of Dutch company "Pecocar", of which representative Peter Brener denied roumors that the company would withdraw from the business, also expressed readiness to operate in industrial zones in Zrenjanin or in one of the city locations.
