The DP World Group from the United Arab Emirates, headed by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, is interested in the privatization of the Port of Bar.

Following a meeting with the company’s CEO, Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said that he was pleased that the renowned global company was interested in the Port of Bar.

– Montenegro needs precisely one such partner in order to best valorize its most successful and most promising port resource. My goal and the government’s goal is to put the resources in development, to the benefit of Montenegro and its citizens – Markovic said.

DP World manages, among other things, 78 port and continental terminals in 40 states on six continents, and its 2017 revenues exceed USD 4 billion.

At the meeting, Markovic was presented with the activities of the company, which also provides accompanying services and logistics, direct online connections with transporters and customs systems, as well as with accompanying businesses.
