NLB Bank Serbia profit EUR 2.2 million – EUR 150 million of new loans approved in 2016

NLB Bank Serbia made EUR 2.2 million in profit last year, and new retail and corporate loans amounted to EUR 150 million, the bank reported on March 9.

Branko Greganovic, CEO of NLB Bank Serbia, pointed out that the growth of retail loans in 2016 compared to the previous year had amounted to 44%.

– We are especially proud of the growth of loans to agricultural producers, whose activities we supported with EUR 22 million of loans for various purposes in 2016 – he said.

NLB Bank Serbia is a member of the Slovenian NLB Group, which had EUR 110 million of profit in 2016, an increase of 20% compared to a year before, when the profit amounted to EUR 91.9 million.

As reported, the year 2016 was the third consecutive year of the growth of profitability for the NLB Group, and all members, including NLB Bank Serbia, had contributed to the good results.
