Government of Serbia sets aside RSD 750 m for entrepreneurship development
Based on the Regulation on incentives for entrepreneurship development which the Government adopted December 30, 2015, assigning of incentives will be carried out in line with special programs of supporting development of entrepreneurship which the Government adopts upon the proposal of the Ministry of trade and rules on assigning governmental support of small values.
General objectives of incentives for entrepreneurial development in line with this Regulation are support in opening new legal entities, support to investments and business development, development of export and inclusion of local firms into chains of suppliers of big systems, support to women’s entrepreneurship, youth and social entrepreneurship as well as innovative projects in economy.
Incentives provided based on the Regulation and program are special grants which can be used only for the purpose assigned while they cannot be used to refund expenses within activities which started or ended before public calls within the program were released.
The Regulation sets aside RSD 750.000.000,00 for entrepreneurship development. Programs will be carried out throughout the Fund for development of the Republic of Serbia until spent and latest until December 31, 2017.
