Construction of 260 km of Sewer System, Three Waste Water Treatment Facilities and New Regional Landfill Planned in Kragujevac – Works Worth EUR 308 Million

A total of EUR 190 million from the state budget will be invested in the construction of 260 km of a sewer system and three waste water treatment facilities in the territory of Kragujevac. A total of EUR 118 million is set aside for the construction of a new regional landfill, and the investment entails a new waste incinerator as well.

– The construction of the Kragujevac regional landfill will finally solve one of the burning ecological problems, it was said at the session, and, with 260 kilometers of the sewer network, the infrastructure and the quality of life in the city will be improved considerably – the city site says.


Waste water treatment facilities will be built in Kragujevac, Stragari and Batocina, and all investments are part of the “Clean Serbia” project, whereas the money is provided by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
